A Crown and a Glory!

without comments

The other night, I sat watching a new favorite TV show of mine, Wretched. It is a Christian show, but it has an attitude and the host, Todd Friel, keeps it thoughtful and entertaining. Either way, I saw a video on there from ESPN that really touch me. Check it out…

After watching it, I came across this verse from Proverbs 17:

Grandchildren are the crown of the aged,
and the glory of children is their fathers.

So, parents and grandparents… do you see your children and grandchildren as a crown? Kids, do you glory in your parents and grandparents? If not, you might just be missing something.

What a way to end your workout…

I’ve posted this before and love this song more and more every time I hear it. Luckily, it was playing when I ended my workout at the gym today. Great way to hit that last stride!

Sibling Rivalry Thanks to the Gas We Pass!

So, on my way home from picking up the kids tonight and I knew there would be trouble. Am hadn’t pooped in a day or so and she was acting a little too uncomfortable in her seat. Honestly, I wanted to cry. She has been in panties for weeks now and the last thing I needed was a big, wet, stinky one in my car to clean up.

Either way. as we chugged along, I knew things were getting bad when the noise came. **NNEERRPPP*

“AH HAHAHAHA! Daddy… I pooted!

“Did you say poot or poop?”

“I didn’t poot.”

“Okay?”

“You did!”

“What? No wait a minute… I would have claimed…”

“No Daddy… I pooted.”

“Okay, don’t poop in your panties… we are going home.”

At this point, my little red head struck up her own funk band, causing me to have to roll down the windows to keep from passing out. Luckily, we made it home with no issues. Am was clean and I was able to get her out and in the house. But… the stink still lingered. ‘Where is that coming from?’, I asked myself. When Abby smiled at me I knew…

I guess you have to keep up with your siblings. I’m so glad I was an only child.

Starting over… again…

with 2 comments

Well, here we go again. I’m starting over because I feel like I compromised my principles too much here and was too nice. I’m done with that. If you are here and don’t like what I say, go elsewhere. Street is starting over again today. Watch out.
