Er… not quite…

So, I just did a quick quiz to determine the denomination that I should belong to and this is what I got…

(100%) 1: Baptist (Reformed/Particular/Calvinistic)
(99%) 2: Congregational/United Church of Christ
(97%) 3: Baptist (non-Calvinistic)/Plymouth Brethren/Fundamentalist
(81%) 4: Seventh-Day Adventist
(76%) 5: Presbyterian/Reformed
(73%) 6: Pentecostal/Charismatic/Assemblies of God
(72%) 7: Methodist/Wesleyan/Nazarene
(71%) 8: Anabaptist (Mennonite/Quaker etc.)
(66%) 9: Church of Christ/Campbellite
(62%) 10: Lutheran
(60%) 11: Anglican/Episcopal/Church of England
(53%) 12: Eastern Orthodox
(34%) 13: Roman Catholic

Er… Calvin… sheesh. Not my cup of tea.

Faith Hurdles, A new series

Faith Hurdles. We have heard about them for years and they screamed loudly during election time. Now, I’ve decided to hit them head on. And, I won’t be doing it blindly. These are tough issue for Christians and non-Christians alike and there is no point in arguing without evidence. I’ll be starting out this week with Global Warming/Nature. The following topics will come in the series in no particular order…

  • Homosexuality
  • The Love of Money
  • All faiths lead to..?
  • Politics

And possibly a few more. Stay tuned!
